I have made use of the customise option, and I found it to be really fun. I changed my blog to what suited me, and I can also rearrange the layout of the web page to a certain degree. I dared not mess about with the html, for if something went wrong, I'll be screwed. The things that you can do to a web page, I think, depends on your expertise with web pages. I imagine that anything can be done if you have the know-how to do it.
PS, I changed the layout, colour, text, text colour, font, and the archives.
